Dr. Ted Anderson Dr. Ted L. Anderson recently joined the faculty at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, where he is the director of the fellowship program in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.  He is also a member of the Women’s Health Program faculty at Vanderbilt’s School of Nursing.  A graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, he is a productive clinician and researcher, focusing his interests on minimally invasive surgical options, alternatives to hysterectomy, and the impact of technology on medicine.  Dedicated to advancing women’s health, Dr. Anderson has participated in the development and testing of many surgical devices and techniques in use today.  He writes and lectures extensively, generously donating his time to professional and community activities.  He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Mary Parrish Center for Victims of Domestic Violence and former Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Centennial Women’s Hospital in Nashville. For several years, Dr. Anderson has been listed as one of the "Best Doctors in America" and "America’s Top Obstetricians & Gynecologists."
