Dr. John D. Bertrand completed his undergraduate training at Baylor University and received his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. A clinician in private practice, he specializes in urogynecology, operative laparoscopy, operative hysteroscopy, surgery for pelvic relaxation and prolapse, and infertility. Dr. Bertrand is a member of the Advisory Council at the Presbyterian Institute for Minimally Invasive Technology (PIMIT), a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of numerous professional and medical societies, including the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the International Federation of Gynecologic Endoscopists. From 2001 through 2005, he was voted one of the "Best Doctors in Dallas" by D Magazine.
